Did Coinbase have the smartest commercial during the Super Bowl? | It crashed their website

We all watch the Super Bowl and the day after we talk about the commercials from the big game. It has become quite the show over the years. Yesterday, there were some amazing commercials. I personally liked the commercial with the cartoon football players where Walter Payton scores the touchdown, and I loved the babies talking and flying the helicopter, but the Coinbase commercial had me shaking my head.
Yes, Coinbase. How do I know it was coinbase? Well, My dumbself opened my phone and scanned the QR code on the screen. Coinbase’s 60-second spot was simple. A color-changing QR code bounced around the black screen like a DVD screensaver. And what did they pay for the commercial? They reportedly paid 14 million dollars for the commercial.
What did the link say? I am glad you asked because they tweeted it out as well.
Well, it was actually genius! Their website actually crashed because there was so much traffic on the page. The low production commercial ended up driving huge chatter on social media as well. The funny thing is it was created for like 5 bucks haha. You have to love it.
