Alabama Vice President and former Crimson Tide football player arrested for soliciting prostitution

In 1992, Myron Pope was a walk-on member of the Crimson Tide football team that beat Miami to win the national championship.
He would stay around Alabama and eventually hold the position as the vice president of student life at the University of Alabama. Well, the VP and 14 other people landed in jail for prostitution.
According to AI.com, Pope resigned after the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force charged him with soliciting prostitution.
Pope was using an app to meet and pay for sex, when he arrived at the scene he was met by an undercover police officer. Pope was booked into the Tuscaloosa County jail on Thursday and released after posting $1,000 bail.
