South Carolina high school standout football player nicknamed Mr. Reliable shot and killed in Charleston

Terrell Backman-Carter and standout football player at North Charleston High School was shot and killed this week according to police reports.
Police arrived to find Backman-Carter unresponsive behind a building at Pinecrest Apartments with gun shot wounds.
His head coach Devon Smalls Jr. posted this on his facebook.
“He was a child with an old man’s soul and that made him very unique and special. Listening to ’80s and ’90s music was his thing,” Smalls wrote. “He was Mr. Reliable for us and we could always count on him.”
Backman-Carter was jack of all trades for the North Charleston High School Football Team.
On Hudl, he played OL and DL, We wanted to give the big man a shout-out by playing a few of his plays from high school. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. Rest in Peace.
