Georgia defeats Alabama in 41 year drought

The Bulldogs snapped a 41 year championship drought and defeated one of the best college football programs of the 21st century and the best college football coach of all time.
Despite the outside noise, the Georgia Bulldogs focused on the task at hand. Lead by Coach Kirby Smart and Senior QB Stetson Bennet, the Bulldogs put an exclamation point on their incredible season.
Despite a slow first half from both teams, including five combined field goals and zero touchdowns, the bulldogs were able to capitalize on most of their drives with touchdowns. The icing on the cake came with a game clinching pick-six by Kelee Ringo.
Since 2016, the Bulldogs have lost only 9 games, but unfortunately four of those losses have been against Saban and the Crimson Tide—three of those losses with hardware on the line. This win means everything to Kirby Smart as he joined Jimbo Fisher as the only Saban assistants to beat the legendary college coach, Nick Saban record being 25-2 in those games.
With an extraordinary defense and a Stetson Bennet lead offense the Bulldogs were able to solidify not only their incredible season, but solidify their team in the college football history books.
