Baker Mayfield is one of the NFL’s rising stars, but he recently underwent a shoulder surgery on his non throwing arm.
Baker Mayfield played the entire year banged up with a torn labrum on his non-throwing shoulder. This past week he had surgery to fix the injury and he went to social media to tell his fans and the Dawg Pound that he will be back!
“This is one of those steps to get back to my true self,” Mayfield said. “This past year hasn’t been pretty easy. … This is not the end of my story. It’s just going to be one of those little things that I’ll look back and remember, one of those challenges and adversity that I’m going to try and take advantage of.”
