Colts worked out former Duquesne long snapper Trey Harper today
We are learning that former small school long snapper Trey Harper had a workout in the NFL today. The Indianapolis Colts worked out the 6’5 long snapper from Duquesne.
Much like Christian Kuntz of the Steelers, Harper was a defensive player coming out of Dayton, Ohio. He was a top 25 prospect in high school who transitioned into being a long snapper at the FCS level. After the solid play, he received an opportunity to play at Michigan.
Harper is a huge kid and has a great snap. This was his first NFL workout and I would not be shocked if other teams line up soon.
