• By always trying to control what I can control.

What should we know about Kareem Taylor the person?

• Hardworking grind it out type of guy.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

• Bobby Wagner, he’s just a guy who’s been playing the game at a high level for a very long time. Smart, instinctive, and a play maker.

What sets you apart from other linebackers?

• My ability to play the game at a different speed than others, ability to play either in the box or out in spaces and be that hybrid type guy for the team, my ability to play both defense and special teams.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

• Winning a conference championship.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

• Usually comes down to how much work you put in during the off-season on and off the field I think studying the classroom part of the game definitely raises your percentage of success of the field.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

• I feel like I bring just that next level energy and passion to the game that my teammates feed off of.

What do you love about the game of football?

• Just the life lessons it teaches you on and off the field.

What is your typical training routine?

• 6 days a week field work, mobility, and recovery.

What would a team get in a player like you?

• Hardworking and trustworthy guy willing earn every opportunity presented to me.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Western Carolina?

• The environment was great man. The fans were amazing packed the stadium every Saturday. Really had great coaching staff and great teammates very appreciative of my time there.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

• Ever since I was a kid I always had a special love for this game and everything about it. I honestly feel like this game chose me everything just fell into place.
