Fans have been sending death threats to Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield after his loss to the Packers
You cannot make this up. Baker Mayfield is currently playing with a torn labrum in his non-throwing arm trying to make something happen for the Browns but he is also getting death threats from fans. His wife Emily posted this post above saying he has received hateful comments and has even received death threats.
Emily Mayfield said in a social media post that after the Cleveland star played poorly in Green Bay, fans have now begun to come at her and her husband with “death threats,” “lies,” and “blatant disrespect.”
“I pray for those of you who even think those thoughts, let alone type them out,” Emily said.
“I hope you can find some happiness so you stop trying to steal it from others.”
“It’s crazy how much negativity is amplified via social media.”
Baker has kept his team in the game damn near every single time. I think the fans are going a little overboard on him.
