1.What are your favorite things about playing football for Lindenwood?

The family culture, I love my brothers and how we play for each other. Also, being able to turn this program into a winning one. We were struggling when I arrived here in 2017 but now we are getting national attention.

2.What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

I am a long corner so I cover a lot of space, which makes it hard for receivers to get away from me. I am combative in coverage and I play with good technique. I am comfortable with covering in the slot as well. Also, my preparation each week and the amount of film I study helps me separate myself from other DBs.

3.What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning a conference championship and making a run in the playoffs.

4.What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring a competitive nature. I try to win in everything I do. Doesn’t matter if it is ping pong or pickup basketball I need to win. I feel that I am the standard for my team each day by making plays in practice/games. Also, I am always ready to get extra work in with my teammates so we can improve our craft.

5.What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Football gave me opportunities in life that I didn’t have growing up. It helped me build great relationships and put me in a position to pay for school.

6.What should we know about Jordan Perry the person?

I am a reliable person. You can depend on me to be there when you need me.

7.What do you love about the game of football?

I love the competitiveness it brings out of people. I love when the game is on the line and we have to figure out who is going to be the person to make the play when it counts the most.

8.How do handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

In life, whenever I face adversity I pray about it and learn from my mistakes. On the field, I have a next play mentality, you can’t get caught in your emotions because it will affect the next play.

9.What is your typical training routine?

I train with Excel360, we focus on DB techniques, footwork, speed and agility.

10.What would a team get in a player like you?

A complete defensive back that can play man/zone coverages. Can make an immediate impact in special teams. And a true competitor that will find a way to make a play on the ball.

11.If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Jalen Ramsey. Best DB in the NFL. See how competitive he is and get insight on how he is successful on Sunday’s. Also Aaron Rodgers because he is my favorite QB of all time.

12.What is your favorite coverage and why?

I don’t have a preference. I like man-man coverage because I love the feeling of locking down number 1 receivers. But I also like zone coverage reading route concepts and jumping them. More opportunities for INTs in zone
