16-year-old Florida High School football player Christopher Walls died in police custody after carjacking

Christopher Walls was a 16-year-old football payer at Hallandale High School, and unfortunately he is dead after taking police on a 20 mile car chase.
According to police records, Walls stole a car at a local gas station and took police on a 20 mile chase from Broward to Miami-Dade in a stolen car.
The thing that is shocking, is witnesses are now saying that the young Walls was drug out of the vehicle by police and beaten. According to Local 10 news, one witness says Walls was getting beaten by police.
“You could see them just kicking him in the head, kicking him in the side, kicking him everywhere and it was just total shock,”
The sad thing is the young man was checked by paramedics within five minutes into the crash and after checking out the teen they left.
According to Miami-Dade police, Walls became unconscious and died in their care. Officers involved in the incident have been placed under administrative leave, pending an investigation.
As a father, and as a law enforcement officer, I think there are many questions that need to be answered. I feel bad for the family of Walls, and I believe regardless of the situation this has to be investigated further. The medics left him alive and well at the scene, and he dies in custody? Something does not seem right here.
