1.What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
- When I was like 6 my parents got me a full packers jersey and pants set and a football for Christmas and I fell in love with the game.
2.What are your favorite things about playing football for West Florida?
- Playing for coach Pete Shinick he’s a great man and also being close to home so my family and my son can come to games.
3.What should we know about Myles Meyer the person?
- I am a great person and I work hard for what I want to accomplish.
4.What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?
I bring a physical aspect to the field I want the OL to feel me every-time I strike them.
5.If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
- I would choose Ray Lewis because he’s a great leader and I want to soak up everything he has to say about leading a group of men also he reminds me of one of my uncles that I am really close with.
6.What are you looking forward to in the rest of your season?
- To finish the regular season strong and to get another National title under my belt.
7.What sets you apart from other defensive linemen?
- I have a great strike and first step I also have a good feel for splitting double teams.
8.What is your typical training routine?
- I like to start off with stretching also doing hip rotation just to stay flexible from there I like to do footwork also work double team drills with hipping into pressure and throwing myself in the gap I also work on pursuit angles.
9.What is a moment that improved you as a football player?
- Punching the ball out on the 4 yard line in the National Championship.
10.What would a team get in a player like you?
- I am going to put the team first in all my actions and I am full speed to the whistle.
11.What do you love about the game of football?
- Having everyone on the same page making plays and celebrating my teammates success.
12.How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
- When adversity strikes me I keep my head down and go back to the drawing board and find another way.
