Lions fans have to love that their team is playing with emotion and heart
I am a Buffalo Bills fan, and for many years my team has not been great. As a matter of fact, we were the laughing stock of the AFC for many years. We became Tom Brady’s rug, as he cleaned his feet on us for almost two decades. It was rough to watch, our team didn’t play with emotions. They would seem to always make a mistake or find a way to lose. Well, the Lions are right there. They are fighting tooth and nail for a win.
They are so close. They lost two games in a row by a field goal. First, it was Justin Tucker hitting a 66 yarder, and then they lost yesterday with 3 seconds left. It sucks to lose, and I understand.
After the game, head coach Dan Campbell broke down in tears. He was pissed but proud.
“You want it for yourself as an organization and for all of us but you want for those players,” Campbell said, wiping away tears. “I mean, they’re out there busting their ass and you know, it’s tough.” “When you see your players give all that they have and you lose that way, it’s tough. You don’t want that for them, but we’ll be better for it.”
Lions fans, I know it sucks but your team is fighting. They are not far away. They are a player or two away and I think they have the right man leading them. The Lions are going to be good. Next season, more than likely the Packers will be without Aaron Rodgers, The Bears will have Justin Fields running the show and Kirk Cousins is a free agent. The Lions can land a top 5 pick this year, and add player that can be an instant impact player for them to help them win now. They are very talented but need some help at a few positons. I love where they are going, and feel they are not far from seeing the playoffs.
