NFL Picks, Predictions, and Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 1 of the NFL
The NFL is finally back, and there are some great games in week 1. The best game of the week is the Cleveland Browns heading to Kansas City to take on the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. We have some wild predictions in week 1, let’s see what we come up with and see how great we do this year. Last year, we had a fairly modest win total, but this year will be the year.
PICKS
- Eagles v. Falcons
- Steelers v. Bills
- Vikings v. Bengals
- 49ers v. Lions
- Cardinals v. Titans
- Seahawks v. Colts
- Chargers v. Washington
- Jets v. Panthers
- Jaguars v. Texans
- Browns v. Chiefs
- Dolphins v. Patriots
- Packers v. Saints
- Broncos v. Giants
- Bears v. Rams
- Ravens v. Raiders
Predictions
- Sam Darnold and the Carolina Panthers punch his former team in the mouth. Darnold has a huge day putting a 40 burger on the Jets defense. Darnold ends the day with 4 touchdowns and 300 plus yards passing.
- Baker Mayfield and the Browns get a huge win against Kansas City in KC. It is not because of the passing offense, but Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt tear up the Chiefs linebackers rumbling for 200 plus yards on the ground. Browns win in a nail-biter.
- Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars are ousted by Tyrod Taylor and the Texans. Tyrod has a great day and the Texans defense do a great job at keeping Lawrence uncomfortable. The Texans win by 7 and the Texans get a win without Deshaun Watson.
Fantasy Sleepers
- Josh Jacobs, RB, Las Vegas Raiders – Jacobs rushes for 100 plus yards on 24 carries and finishes the game with 2 touchdowns. One through the air and one on the ground. Raiders win against a banged up Ravens team.
- Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers – Deebo eats today against the Detroit Lions secondary. Samuel finishes the day with 140 yards and 3 touchdowns. He is the NFL’s leading wide out after week 1.
- Arizona Cardinals defense – The Cardinals defense shuts down the Titans making them one dimensional. Ryan Tannehill and company cannot do anything and Derrick Henry is bottled up for 37 yards on the ground.
