Ravens are closing in on a deal to sign recently released Saints running back Latavius Murray

The Baltimore Ravens have lost three running backs for the season already this year. The team has had to turn to free agency and sign several veterans. The team signed Devonta Freeman this week as well as Le’Veon Bell to their practice squad. The team also signed RB Trenton Cannon.
The Ravens lost JK Dobbins, Justice Hill, and yesterday Gus Edwards for the year. The Ravens had a stud running back in Nate McCrary on their team but when they released him he was claimed by the Broncos. The Ravens would have liked to have him back on their practice squad but that did not happen.
The Ravens now are turning to former Saints running back Latavius Murray. According to Jeff Zrebiec, the Ravens are working to sign Latavius Murray, and it will likely be done soon.
Murray is a 31 year old running back drafted by the Raiders back in 2013. The Saints surprisingly let him walk this week, so it would make sense for the Ravens to snag him. Their depth is pretty weak at this point.
