#1 Rank LCC Huskies Path to the NIAA Championship
The Louisiana Community Christian Huskies are preparing for their season opener. The Huskies are members of the National Independent Athletic Association (NIAA). The Huskies are members of the Louisiana Intercollegiate Conference. The Huskies are favorites to win the NIAA in 2021. The Huskies are set to battle their cross town rivals, the third ranked CMP Drillers this upcoming Saturday. The Drillers are a post-graduate school from Lafayette. They lost to NAU 40+ to 0 & lost to the Huskies twice last season. The Huskies have one thing on their mind, and that’s winning. The road to Atlanta starts this upcoming Saturday.
When speaking with Coach Corey Andrus, he empathized that this team is much better than the previous. The Huskies have added key transfers. A lot of talent will be displayed this fall in Lafayette
The Huskies battle the Drillers on Saturday, August 21 at Clark Field. Kickoff is set for 6 pm CT. If you can’t make the game, the game will be live streamed as well. Stay tuned this week as I sit down with members of the Huskies for an official season preview.
