Illinois high school football players injured badly in car crash, One died in the crash

Another high school football player has lost his life in 2021. Alex Czerwik and his brother Adrian were both seriously injured in an accident Tuesday night, and unfortunately, Alex lost his life.
The crash happened in Bartlett, Illinois when a 16-year-old boy was driving a 2021 Honda Civic when it hit a curb, a speed limit sign and then a utility pole, turning the car on his roof.
According to the CBS Chicago, The driver and the three passengers all had to be extricated. The 16-year-old boy who had been the front-seat passenger died at the scene.
Two other 16-year-old boys who had been in the back seat each suffered life-threatening injuries. One was taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, the other to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. The driver, age unspecified, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to St. Alexius.
A Go Fund Me account was set up for the family to help cover Medical Expenses. We would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the Bartlett football team as well as the Czerwik family. Made God watch over you all, during this tough time.
