Former Clemson University football player arrested for sending explicit photos to a sixteen-year-old girl

Former Clemson football standout Yusef Kelly was arrested this week after he was accused of sending explicit photos and messages to a 16-year-old female why serving as a school resource police officer at Easley High School.
The 38-year-old officer was charged with misconduct in office, solicitation of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and disseminating obscene material to a person under the age of 18.
According to the police report, Kelly a law enforcement officer and school resource officer was sending sexually explicit photos and messages to a 16-year old telling the teen to do things that were not morally correct.
That was not all the former Clemson standout did. According to reports, Kelly also criminally solicited, distributed obscene materials to, and contributed to the delinquency of minors he met while serving as an Easley police officer. Kelly distributed digital files of male genitalia and masturbation to a teenager. Kelly also contacted a teenager with the intent of persuading, inducing, enticing or coercing the teen to engage in sexual activity.
The former star running back at Clemson will be in court soon and his case will be prosecuted by the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in South Carolina.
