Standout High School football player Miles Thompson shot and killed while visiting his family in Chicago

Miles Thompson was just offered a full scholarship to play football at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. The 18-year-old former defensive MVP who was a stud on and off the field at Glenbrook North High School was shot and killed on Thursday while visiting Chicago.

Thompson was killed one day before his birthday. Family members told NBC 5, Thompson drove to the city’s Austin neighborhood Wednesday night to visit his father. He had just parked his car in an alley behind his father’s house when a group of men jumped out and shot him.

The teenager’s 9-year-old brother made the discovery.

We at NFL Draft Diamonds wanted to showcase Miles’ highlight film from 2019 in honor of the star pass rusher. It is such a horrible thing because he had a bright future.
