Kyree Young a talented three star recruit running back with over 15 offers shot and killed

Akron Police Department is reporting the death of a former talented high school football player. Kyree Young was shot and killed in Akron, Ohio this week.
Around 5:45 pm on Monday, police responded to a shooting in the city’s Chapel Hill neighborhood where the medical examiner’s office identified Kyree as a homicide victim.
Kyree was pronounced dead at the scene.
The star athlete was one of the most gifted players in the Akron area. He had several major college programs recruiting him. The 18-year-old 6-foot-1, 200-pound running back had offers from Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, West Virginia, Akron, Kent State, Boston College, Iowa State, Nebraska, Purdue, Texas A&M, Toledo, Michigan State, and Kentucky. He was a three-star recruit.
