We all remember Jaquan Yulee the hard hitting linebacker prospect from Marshall University because of his injury suffered back in 2019. In the season opener, Yulee suffered a a serious spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed for several days. The wild thing was Yulee was preparing a comeback to play college football.
Yulee was a four star recruit who turned down offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Michigan and Notre Dame. The 24-year-old was looking to return to play at one of three HBCU schools to include Virginia State University, Central State University or Virginia Union.
Unfortunately, Yulee was killed in a car accident in Suffolk County. The former Marshall linebacker was involved in a single-car crash on Leafwood Road. The vehicle flipped on it’s roof and the Yulee was pronounced dead on the scene.
