This week Atlanta Falcons linebacker Barkevious Mingo was arrested in Arlington.
According to police records, Mingo was arrested for indecency with a child, sexual contact.
The 30-year-old who was the sixth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft was booked into Tarrant County jail. He is facing up to 20 years in prison if found guilty of the allegations.
It is a 2nd degree felony charge in the State of Texas. Mingo had a 25k dollar bond and was released the next day.
Mingo was a star pass rusher at LSU prior to the NFL. He has played with multiple NFL teams to include the Browns, Patriots, Colts, Seahawks, Texans, and Bears before signing with the Falcons this year.
