2022 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report: Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M University

Jalen Wydermyer – TE – 6’5 255 – Rising Junior
College: Texas A&M
From: Dickinson Texas
As both a threat in the run and pass game, this young man is a beast on the field. His run protection needs a little tweaking but his pass game is on point.
He has played in 23 games and started in 21 of them as a sophomore. His most impressive stats are 78 receptions for 953 yards with 12 touchdowns.
His pass routes for a big man are on point, he is explosive off the snap and his routes are clean. He catches with soft hands and is very capable of accruing multiple yards after the catch.
I am looking forward to watching this young man this season. He is a legit first round draft contender.
