Bears running back Tarik Cohen’s twin found dead at an electrical substation, Tyrell Cohen was just 25 years old

Please keep Tarik Cohen and his family in your prayers at this time. A sad story out of Raleigh, North Carolina is starting to unfold and it involves Tarik’s twin brother Tyrell.

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office identified a body found at an electrical substation Sunday as Tyrell Cohen, who was just 25 years old.

Last night, Cohen never returned home, so the family filed a missing persons report. Even Tarik posted about it on his social media.

This morning, shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday, a Duke Energy employee discovered the body of a man inside the substation’s perimeter. It’s believed Cohen died of electrocution while attempting to climb some of the equipment. According to WRAL, Cohen was involved in a car accident, but before investigators arrived he fled on foot.

Investigators with the Wake Co. Sheriff's office tells me Cohen was involved in a single-car wreck on I-540 and fled on foot before investigators arrived.
