Breaking: Former Packers draft pick Kendall Donnerson will attend the Panthers minicamp
We are learning, that former small-school linebacker Kendall Donnerson will be attending the Carolina Panthers mini-camp. The former Green Bay Packers draft pick will try to earn a roster spot through his workout.
The former SEMO linebacker ranks among the school’s all-time career leaders in tackles for loss (t10th, 21) and sacks (t19th, 6).
Donnerson was selected by the Packers with the third of three choices in the seventh round (No. 248 overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Donnerson became the first player to be drafted out of Southeast Missouri since center Eugene Amano in 2004 (Tennessee, seventh round). He is the only player from SEMO to be drafted by the Packers.
A native of Maumelle, Arkansas, Donnerson will fight tooth and nail to earn a spot on the Panthers. He is a 6’2, 250 pound linebacker with great instincts.
