Lewis finished with 10.5 sacks during the spring, which is super impressive. He led the SWAC and FCS in sacks and tackles for loss with 15.0 for 82 yards.
He ended the season with 27 tackles, 19 solo tackles, 15.0 TFL, and a forced fumble. You have to love it when an HBCU player wins a big award.
Lewis becomes the 26th recipient of the Buck Buchanan Award going to the FCS top defensive player.
