Houston Attorney who was gunning for Deshaun Watson is now trying to “work things out”? | Watson needs to keep fighting
According to Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com, a member of attorney Tony Buzbee’s legal team sent messages to Deshaun Watson’s legal team to try to work things out, with the 22 lawsuits pending against Watson.
Why do they want to work things out? Buzbee is trying to deny that his team approached Watson’s team, but ESPN is reporting there is evidence that someone reached out to Watson’s team.
Watson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, suggested Tony Buzbee, the attorney for the 22 women who have filed civil lawsuits against Watson, has attempted to settle the case on several occasions.
ESPN has a recording and the messages, but Buzbee adamantly denies this, saying he is the only one at the firm who has the authority to discuss a settlement.
This is wild, it just makes you wonder what is going on. Buzbee is being caught in a lie, how can this keep going on?
