Autopsy of former Texans DT Louis Nix reveals he drowned | His Blood Alcohol content level was .192 at time of death

Louis Nix III the former Notre Dame standout defensive tackle and former Houston Texans draft pick died earlier this year when he vehicle crashed into a retention pond. The medical examiner’s office is ruling the death a drowning.
The autopsy reports that Nix had traces of alcohol and drugs in his system.
The 29 year old was reported missing on Wednesday, February 24th, and the officers found his vehicle days later.
According to the autopsy, the BAC was .192 at the time of the autopsy. If that is the case, he had to drink at least 24 beer in an 8 hour span according to this website.
The report also states that a fragment of a bullet was removed from his body postmortem. He was shot back in December by a couple armed attackers.
