Free Agent Spotlight: Jordan Thomas, Defensive Back

Former Dakota State defensive back Jordan Thomas recently sat down with NFL Draft Diamonds writer Justin Berendzen. Check out this free agent spotlight!

Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and I am here to put a spotlight on DB Jordan Thomas (@Lu__Kane6) on Twitter.

This 5’11” DB who went to Dakota State University had 51 tackles, not including special teams, 4 tackles for loss, 8-10 pass break-ups, 3 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, and 4 fumbles recovered.

Jordan has a knack for getting to where the ball is and I asked him what a team would get from him.

Jordan told me “Would be getting a player not only going to give 111% in everything I do on the field as well as in the community of whatever team I go to. Definitely want to give back help out in the aspect as far as my field presence I feel like it speaks for itself everybody speak on giving 110% but I give that extra percent after everybody is ready to give up I still have extra to give and won’t stop until my tank is empty.”

I also asked him what sets him apart from other defensive backs and he said

“I feel like I’m very versatile I know a lot of DB’s say that but I literally have played a different position in football since I picked up a football at the age of 8 so I feel like I understand every position and I have a broad IQ for the game to go along with my athleticism and my passion for the game.”

I think that Jordan would be worth a look for any team.
