Breaking: Browns have re-signed WR Rashard Higgins to a one year deal

The Cleveland Browns are keeping Hollywood in town. Rashard Higgins has elected to stay with the Cleveland Browns on a one year fully guaranteed contract.
The receiver market is not very hot right now, and Higgins wanted to return to the Browns and make a run for the Super Bowl. Higgins had a solid season in 2020, and became a fan favorite.
Higgins tallied 37 receptions for 599 yards and four touchdowns last year and also built chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield. He campaigned for Browns general manager Andrew Berry to re-sign him during an appearance on ESPN Cleveland in late February.
The Cleveland Browns drafted Higgins in the fifth round with the 172nd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has 113 career receptions for 1,615 yards and 11 touchdowns. I would expect him to continue his chemistry with Baker and keep the Browns moving in the right direction.
