Former Carolina Panthers draft pick arrested for hit-and-run in Las Vegas
Former UNLV and Former Carolina Panthers draft pick Adam Seward was arrested this week on suspicion of hit-and-run in a crash that left a woman with several injuries.
A female passenger was in the vehicle with him when he hit a pole. They parked the vehicle at his apartment complex and took the female to the hospital in his other car. Police arrested Seward and released him under his own recognizance.
Seward said during an interview with police,he was driving the Jeep when it crashed, according to the arrest report.
He said he lost control on the wet road while making a turn, and the car struck the pole. He parked the Jeep and took the woman to his apartment, and they left in his other car for the hospital.
“Seward stated he knew he should have waited for police on scene,” the report states.
Adam Seward played linebacker for UNLV before getting drafted by the Panthers in the 5th round. Seward played in the NFL for 5 years.
