Two police officers indicted for manslaughter for the stun gun killing of former football player Javier Ambler
Justice will hopefully be served. Javier Ambler a former high school football star from Killeen, Texas will finally have some justice.
Today, two Williamson County sheriff’s deputies were indicted in the death of Ambler, who died after a chase in March 2019 that was filmed for the reality TV series “Live PD”.
Deputies James Johnson and Zachary Camden are both charged with manslaughter.
Bond was set at $150,000 for both the officers. The officers used stun gun’s on Ambler at least four times despite him crying for help, stating he could not breathe. He was pulled over because he failed to dim his headlights, then took police on a chase.
Ambler, died of “congestive heart failure and hypertensive cardiovascular disease associated with morbid obesity, in combination with forcible restraint”, according to the autopsy report.
This death happened in 2019 and the family is finally getting some justice. Please keep them in your prayers.
