You decided to enter the NFL Draft early, and I feel deep down inside you will be a steal in the draft, do you feel you are being overlooked right now?

• Most definitely. I feel I bring a lot to the game. I add special teams value, and feel I am underrated as a wide receiver, because of the offense I was in. I definitely feel I am overlooked right now, and I am just as good as any other wide receiver that is ranked higher than me. 

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about Ihmir Smith-Marsette?

• I am a baller, No matter where I am at, I am going to get the job done. 

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

• Homelessness, I feel that everyone deserves to have shelter. It is a place of comfort and a place of privacy. I feel that everyone in the world should have that. 

Who was your childhood hero?

• My grandmother – She did everything for me. She made sure everything was in place, and everything was set up nicely for me. She went out of her way for me, and she was always in my corner. 

Who is the most underrated teammate in your lockerroom at Iowa?

• Brandon Smith, 100 percent

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

• The way I grew up, sleeping on the couch in high school for about three years. 

Tell me something about Iowa, and why it is so special to you?

• It is special to me because they offered me the ability to showcase my talents and show the world that I can play at a high level. It is one of the best divisions in college football, and I am thankful for that. 

What is your favorite snack food?

• Anything Little Debbie. Little Debbie gets me right. 

The NFL Draft is quickly approaching, If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

• I do everything, COME GET ME

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

• Stefon Diggs – He lines up on the outside and the inside. At Maryland, he returned kicks and he was doing it all.  I feel I can do everything that he can do.  

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

1. Michael Jackson, we share the same birthday that would be cool
2. Jay Z, because he is the spot-on image of excellence 
3. Muhammad Ali, a fierce competitor that knows how to win and how to lose and how to bounce back.
