Report: Seattle Seahawks have already reached out to the Eagles about Zach Ertz

Zach Ertz Eagles Trade
Could Eagles tight end Zach Ertz be traded soon? It sounds like at least two teams have reached out to Howie Roseman for the former Stanford TE.

The Philadelphia Eagles could have several players being traded in the near future, and one of those players getting some interest in the open market is veteran tight end Zach Ertz.

According to Ed Kracz of SI.com, the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts have already reached out to the Eagles in regards to their veteran tight end.

An NFL source said that the Eagles have had conversations about Ertz with the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts.

Last year, the Eagles had offers from the Baltimore Ravens and Green Bay Packers for Ertz, but he suffered an injury.

This year, it sounds like the Seahawks are trying to get Russell Wilson some more weapons.

At this point, I doubt it would take much to land Ertz. Ertz only played in 11 games this year and hauled in 36 receptions for 335 yards and just 1 touchdown. He has been banged up the past couple seasons, but the 30 year old pass catcher would be a huge upgrade to the Seahawks at this time.
