33 undrafted players will suit up in the Super Bowl and 63 players were three stars or less
At NFL Draft Diamonds we do not like to focus on the big name players. That is always fun to do, but we like to focus on the fact that there are some overlooked guys playing the big game.
Last week, we posted an article that showed there were more Division 2 players in the Super Bowl than 5-star recruits from the website 24/7.
Well, I wanted to add a couple other cool stats that popped up on my timeline. One is from Field Yates on Twitter. Did you know that 33 players on the Buccaneers and Chiefs were undrafted players entering the NFL?
Many think that you have to be drafted to make it and that is not true anymore. Shoot there are tons of draft picks cut every year, and the undrafted guys are making a name for themselves.
Another cool stat is that there are 63 players in the Super Bowl tonight that were 3 star recruits or less according to ESPN. You have to look at this and just smile if you are an underdog. This is why we exist. This is why we push the little man!
