While D3 prospect Quinn Meinerz prepares for the NFL draft, he’s also helping a young girl from his hometown

Quinn Meinerz has been showcased on our website quite a bit this year. Our scout Jimmy Williams fell in love while breaking down film, and needless to say the entire world is falling in love with him too!

While Meinerz could capitalize off of his fancy tummy, Meinerz instead wants to give back and help a young friend in need.

Hugs 4 Alaina is a fundraiser supporting an 11-year-old girl, Alaina Shelsta. She has a rare form of GLUT 1 and needs help finding a life-saving treatment. 

Quinn released this statement about his idea to help Alaina.

I wanted to find a way to help raise money for a local friend which means a lot to me. Back in Hartford, WI there is a young girl named Alaina who is trying to find a cure for a rare disease. With all the added attention I am getting with the upcoming draft, I wanted to find a way to filter that into something that means a lot to me. 

I created a shirt and sweatshirt to showcase The Gut and will be donating 100% of profits to support my friend Alaina. We will be taking pre-orders and all shirts will be delivered before the draft night in late April.
