Oregon High School broken-hearted after star football prospect Ezekiel Crowder’s suicide

Oregon football player Ezekiel Crowder of Lakeridge High School died earlier this week.
The fifteen-year-old football player was a son, brother to three siblings, and a solid teammate. Crowder reportedly took his own life on Monday.
On Facebook, Ezekiel’s father, John Crowder, described his son as a humble, kind peacemaker loved by all who knew him, with a depth and character beyond his years.
The sophomore was 6-foot-3 and weighed 270 pounds, and trust me he had a college football future. Crowder played offensive and defensive lines for the Lakeridge football team.
His mother made this post on Instagram. This is extremely hard to read. We are praying for his Family and Friends during this tough time. It is very important that we share the Suicide Prevention Hotline. The number is 1-800-273-8255! Please call them if you are struggling with depression or anxiety. They can help.
