Tennessee High School football rising star E.J. Utley shot and killed on his front porch

E.J. Utley was a future collegiate athlete. He was huge, had great skills and was already playing on the varsity football team at the age of 15. Rest in Peace young man.

Edgar J. Utley V otherwise known as E.J. Utley was a rising superstart for Hillsboro High School. The 15 year old Freshman was playing for the varsity team and had tons of potential.

Last night, Utley was shot and killed outside his home in a targeted shooting according to police.

Utley reportedly had a black female at his house at the time, when he went outside on the porch, he was shot by a male waiting on him. The female and the shooter fled the scene.

Utley was transported to the hospital where he would succumb to his injuries.

Utley’s mother Tracy Walls is a doctor and a school teacher. She made this post on her social media account.

There are no arrests have been made in the shooting. The shooter is believed to be black and wore red clothing. The female wore blue pants, a white hoodie, and a black beanie. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
