Chiefs OLB coach Britt Reid was drinking before he had a car accident hurting several children
Britt Reid is the outside linebackers coach for the Kansas City Chiefs and also the son of head coach Andy Reid. The Chiefs are not going to have him available this week because he is currently under investigation by the team and the police.
The younger Reid was drinking and driving and crashed into another vehicle that had two young children in the car. One of the children is suffering life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened last night around 9 pm. Reid told police he hit a car that had pulled over after running out of gas and another car that pulled over to help the driver who did not have gas. The two kids were in the vehicle that pulled over to help, according to the report. Reid was in a truck and admitted to the police he had been drinking.
The police reported that they could smell alcohol on Reid’s breathe and his eyes were bloodshot.
This is not Reid’s first run in with the law. He plead guilty to DUI back in 2008, and even spent time in jail for road rage.
We are praying the children are healed but this is such a sad story. You are about to coach in the biggest game of your career, and you are out drinking. My, My, My, someone needs help.
