Could the Colts lure Andrew Luck out of retirement for one more rodeo?
The Indianapolis Colts made a great run this year with Philip Rivers, but they are in desperate need of a quarterback. Could the Colts lure Andrew Luck out of retirement?
The Colts have the 21st pick in the NFL Draft, and need a quarterback bad, but imagine if they could draft a left tackle like Alex Leatherwood then turn around and get Andrew Luck out of retirement?
Luck has been able to sit out and heal and clear his mind. The former Stanford product would make the Colts and immediate Super Bowl contender in my honest opinion.
The Colts owner actually mentioned Luck the other day about a possible return.
Irsay stated, “The door’s always open, but it stands where it stands, Andrew’s retired. He knows we would love to have him back, but only he could ever answer that question.”
The roster is viewed as one ready to build on last season’s playoff appearance and with how impressive their defensive unit was, this team would be close to winning it all. They gave the Bills a run for their money in the playoffs. Chris Ballard is a beast at GM, and Frank Reich has the team moving in the right direction. Luck is the missing link.
Luck is 53-33, he would be playing on the best roster of his career. Could you imagine if Luck came back?
They are a wide receiver and an offensive tackle away. They also have quite a bit of Cap space too. Luck what are you waiting on?
