Denver Broncos released CB A.J. Bouye
By: NFLHeads2020
Former UCF cornerback A.J. Bouye has been released by the Denver Broncos after being on the team for one year. The Broncos traded for Bouye last March to help boost the CB depth after Chris Harris Jr. signed with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Late in the year, Bouye received a six-game suspension due to a violation of the league’s policy on performance-enhancement drugs, which caused him to miss the last four games of the 2020 season.
He will also miss the first two games of the 2021 season. Bouye was not the CB that the Broncos needed, he ended the season with 21 tackles and no picks. Although Bouye was released, he is a solid veteran CB that many teams could use.
In my opinion, I believe that Bouye will go to either the Vikings or the Chiefs because they need major CB help, but he will be a great veteran choice no matter what team he lands on.
