California high school football star Mitch Wade killed in nasty car accident
Mitch Wade was a super start at Pacifica High School. The All-Empire League standout was a leader on the defensive side of the ball during his junior and senior seasons.
Wade helped his team reach the CIF Southern Section Division 8 playoffs. The outside linebacker was just 19 years old. He graduated last year.
Unfortunately, he passed this Tuesday in a three-vehicle car crash in Huntington Beach.
A Sunset Beach man involved in the crash has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, police said. The sad thing is the crash also killed 71-year-old Cindy Zervos of Huntington Beach.
It is so sad that a person under the influence is the one responsible for killing two people. We ask that you please keep Mitch Wade and his family in your prayers.
There is a Go Fund Me Page set up for Mitch’s family. If you can afford it, it could be a blessing.
We wanted to share Mitch’s highlights from his senior year. Rest In Peace brother!
