2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Josh Myers, OC, Ohio State University

Josh Myers was the runner up for the Rimington Trophy after helping his team reach the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The Buckeyes starting center lost out to his opponent Landon Dickerson of Alabama.
Myers will face Alabama tonight and hopes to walk away the National Champion. Myers became the starting center in 2019 as a sophomore and has taken more than 900 sanps as the Buckeyes anchor. The Buckeyes averaged 266.8 rushing yards per game and 539.9 yards overall per game. Myers is an All Big-Ten member.
Myers is from Miamisburg, Ohio and was a four star prospect and the number 1 rated prospect in Ohio when leaving school. Myers comes from a pretty solid pedigree.
His father Brad was an offensive lineman at Kentucky and his brother Zach also played for Kentucky on the O-Line.
Myers draft stock is soaring after Landon Dickerson suffered a serious looking leg injury last week. I expect Myers to be a top center taken in the draft.
NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes
Ohio State has had some pretty solid centers over the years. A matter of fact they have had three Rimington Trophy winners to include LeCharles Bentley, Pat Elflein and Billy Price. Myers is definitely on their level at this point of his career and I feel he will be a top center in the NFL draft. I would not be shocked if he is the first or the second center drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft. – Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds Owner
