Houston Texans are a mess, they just hired the Ravens passing coordinator to make Deshaun Watson happy?
The Houston Texans just do not get it. They have an unhappy franchise quarterback in Deshaun Watson and they hire who to fix their problems?
Yes, the team hired David Culley as their head coach. Do you know who David Culley is? Let me explain.
David Culley was the passing game coordinator and assistant head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. Yep, that is right, the PASSING GAME COORDINATOR. He was hired over Eric Bienemy who their quarterback preferred and boy is it a head scracther.
The Ravens are striking gold because they are going to end up with two third round picks because Culley is a minority and an assistant coach. The Texans however are going to end up without a quarterback and the worst passing game coordinator in the NFL.
Before you say I am wrong for saying that, it is true. David Culley and the Ravens were horrible. They threw for 171.2 yards per game which was 32nd in the NFL. Lamar Jackson degressed horribly as a passer. He threw for 2,757 yards and threw 9 interceptions. He was down 10 touchdowns from 2019 and threw three more picks. His rating went down to 99.3, and his completion percentage also went down from 66.1 to 64.4 percent.
Deshaun Watson this morning requested a trade, and to be honest I cannot blame him. With Nick Caserio in control, do not be surprised if he is sent to Boston.
