2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State University

Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Chris Olave is one of the most underrated players in the NFL Draft. He is a stud with great hands and speed.

Chris Olave is one of the most underrated draft prospects in the country. Many will say he is not underrated but I have to disagree. You have many mock drafts from media members coming out with Chris Olave falling to the second to third round.

I think that is why I am calling him underrated. Did you not watch Olave was doing to Clemson last week? Ohio State’s star wide out missed the Big Ten Championship game but came back to tear up Clemson.

Olave will enter Monday Night’s National Championship game with 42 receptions for 660 yards and seven touchdowns in just 6 games. He racked up 132 of those yards and 2 touchdowns against Clemson. Olave will have a touch competition this week going against Patrick Surtain II, but I think he will still shine.

I have a feeling Olave plays himself into the first round. Media members will start to change things up after the Alabama game. I think Olave snaps on Monday. He may not be a teams number one but he will be a great addition to a team and an amazing number 2 for someone.

NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes:

Chris Olave has first round abilities. The 6’1, 190 pound wide out from Ohio State can change a game. He reminds me a lot of Will Fuller of the Texans. I think Olave will be a star at the next level. I would not be shocked if he is in the running for rookie of the year. The San Marcos, California native has a nack for getting open. He is only 20 years old and NFL teams will love that about him. – Damond Talbot, Owner, NFL Draft Diamonds
