2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Seth Williams, WR, Auburn University

Auburn WR Seth Williams is a deep threat and a playmaker. There are several solid big receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft, but Williams is special

Since his Freshman year, Seth Williams has been one of the best wide receivers in the country since. Williams is a versatile contributor and a huge deep threat. His catch radius makes you double team him. If he catches you one on one he is going to abuse you.

Williams was a four star wide receiver and a safety in high school, but has turned into one of the most prolific wide receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Williams stands at 6’3, and weighs 211 pounds. He has played in 33 games in his career. He has 121 career receptions for 1,944 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. This year in eight games he has 3 touchdowns and is averaging 16.1 yards per catch.

I love his ability to go up and get the ball. He made some sick plays in his career, but one of my favorites was against Liberty when he laid out to catch a pass in the end zone. Not many players are willing to put their bodies on the line like Williams.

If Williams declares he will be drafted, and right now his stock is rising.

NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes

Seth Williams has a little Randy Moss in him. He is a big play maker with great hands and will make you pay if you leave him in single coverage. One on one with any cornerback I like the chances of Williams coming down with the ball. I would like to see him work on his route running, but when you need a big play, I too would be going to #18 as well. – Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds, Owner
