NFL Week 13 Recaps with Taysom Hill Highlighted Points!

Taysom Hill Saints Fantasy Football
If you are playing in the Fantasy Football Playoffs this week, a player you may want to consider is Saints QB Taysom Hill. He is playing lights out right now.

It was another frantic week in the NFL with some of the best highlights coming out of the New Orleans Saints camp as Taysom Hill may live up to Sean Payton’s prediction that the superstar quarterback will eventually become the next, and maybe an even better, Steve Young!

In that game, the Saints were victorious over the Falcons. Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins hosted the Cincinnati Bengals and another one of the best games of Week 13 was the Minnesota 27-24 over Jacksonville matchup.

New Orleans Beat Atlanta

The final score was not convincing, but it was enough for the Saints to get past the Falcons and maintain their excellent run with a 21-16 win. The Falcons are the Saints’ oldest rivals and these 2 teams have battled since 1967. However, the Falcons are way behind New Orleans in terms of rivalry, but the game was still every bit as competitive and you would hardly know that these 2 teams are miles apart in terms of talent.

With sports betting coming back to the USA, there will be plenty of people using their sign-up bonus free bets on the Super Bowl outright market with New Orleans looking like a promising bet to win the competition for a second time after Taysom Hill shone through in the game showing the Saints have depth and talent enough to go all the way.

After 3 years, Hill finally threw the first NFL career touchdown pass. He made an impressive 232 yards and 2 touchdowns. He made 37 passes with 27 of those completed in the game compared to 23 the last time these 2 teams met. His excellent passing helped to convert 6 third downs with 6+ yards to go 5 via throws from their star quarterback. It was having this kind of impact that made sure New Orleans won the game.

Miami Dolphins Versus Cincinnati Bengals

Miami Dolphins are up there and in with a chance, but still don’t look like Superbowl contenders this year. That said, they have hope as Tua Tagovailoa showed just how valuable he is to the team as he led them to another tactical victory with a convincing score line 19-7 win but what many would say was an ugly performance against a weak opponent as of late.

The Dolphins quarterback threw for 296 yards, but arguably he was lucky his receivers were on their game. On top of this, the offense should have made the score line more convincing after failing to convert from the red zone 3 out of 4 times – something that may not go unpunished versus better opponents.

That said, the Dolphins front seven handled the Bengals offence so well, it just needed a few good receivers to bail out their quarterback and 1 red line touchdown conversion to make the score line look like Dolphins are a formidable force—although that may not be the case!

Minnesota Vikings Versus Jacksonville Jaguars

Although Minnesota came out 27-24 victors, the team was really supposed to overwhelm the Jaguars. In what was a fairly bad performance, but amazing to watch, Kirk Cousins came to the rescue to help Minnesota grab much needed points to push the game into overtime.

All that was needed next was some luck and that came courtesy of Jasonville’s very own quarterback who both fumbled and sent a terrible interception pass the Viking’s way practically handing them the victory.

He joined Dalvin Cook in the fumble department yet Cook ended up an unlikely hero after, much like his teammate Cousins, managed to make up for an initial poor performance after 8 carries for 39 yards–1 of those carries got the field goal which was the final blow for Jacksonville Jaguars.

Overall, these were arguably the best 3 games of week 13 with the most interesting being the development of Taysom Hill who will be one for the Fantasy Football drafts on week 13. He could be the quarterback of the playoffs if he puts in more performances like this, and one to look out for in the new season as he develops into a formidable player.
