Ekom Udofia Bengals NFL Stanford Mental health killed
Ekom Udofia the former Bengals defensive tackle was receiving treatment for a mental health condition when he was shot and killed by police last month.

On November 30th, 2020, Police found a man walking in the streets of Phoenix reportedly with a BB Gun. Well, the reports say that Ekom Udofia a former NFL player and Stanford defensive tackle pointed his BB gun at a police officer and was shot and killed.

Police say the 33-year-old was armed with a realistic-looking BB gun when they found him in-and-out of traffic near 23rd Avenue and Indian School Road, according to ABC 15.

Udofia played at Stanford and was a defensive lineman. He ended up landing on the Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints.

Udofia had several run-ins with the police and had been arrested on numerous charges. Udofia suffered from mental health issues, and his family and relatives would encourage anyone who knew Udofia to donate to mental health causes.

This is such a tragic event. We do need to do more for mental health individuals. Please pray for the Udofia family at this time.
