The Fantasy Football Friday FLEX is where we name our FLEX Play of the Week. And for Week 10 the FLEX Play of the Week is…

Friday FLEX of the Week:  JD McKissic/ RB/ Washington Football Team

This one is more for the PPR inclined leagues but if you’re stuck in a standard league you could do far worse. McKissic will be a key option in the passing game with Alex Smith now leading the offense. Smith has never really been a guy that has dominated with the deep ball so don’t expect that now as he’s late in his career. McKissic saw 14 targets last week. The Lions have allowed 15 total RB TDs this year; 10 rushing and 5 receiving.

An interesting stat for McKissic is that he leads all RBs in targets when lined up in the slot or out wide with 24. The next closest is Alvin Kamara with 16, and Cordarrelle Patterson if you consider him to be a RB.

But maybe the most surprising revelation has been how involved McKissic is. He leads the backfield in snap share per game with 50% while Antonio Gibson isn’t far behind at 45%. McKissic is 2nd on the team in targets with 47 and 3rd in carries with 35.

I fully expect the Washington Football Team to take advantage of their offensive strength passing to the RB which is the weakness of the Detroit defense defending RBs in the passing game.

Production Prediction: 4 carries for 22 yards and 1 TD with 6 receptions for 53 yards and 1 TD
