NFL and NFLPA are investigating the Titans, they reportedly worked out offsite together?
It sounds like the Tennessee Titans players are not taking COVID-19 seriously.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the NFL and NFLPA are investigating the Titans because they believe the players have been working out together while the facility was closed.
It that is the case, the NFL needs to make the Titans forfeit.
These are not children folks, these are grown-ups.
The Titans have had 22 positive tests since Sept. 24 and their origins of their outbreak are being investigated by the league and the NFL Players Association. The Titans could face potential discipline by the NFL if they’re found to have violated the sport’s coronavirus protocols, according to Mark Maske of the Washington Post.
One issue being investigated by the NFL and NFLPA is whether a group of Titans players gathered on their own away from the team’s facility over the past week for workouts, according to a person familiar with the matter. The league and union have not verified whether that occurred, that person said, but if that is substantiated, it could form the basis for punishment of the team. The NFL told the Titans last week that players and other personnel could not gather away from the facility.
Mike Vrabel has said the team is in total compliance, we will see what they come up with.
Breaking: The Titans were meeting with one another and did in fact practice when they were not supposed to.
