Former Pittsburg State basketball star Marquell Nolan shot and killed at Youth Football Game
Marquell Nolan aka Marky was a beast on the Pitssburg State basketball team. He was the 2013 MIAA defensive player of the year his senior season at Pittsburg State. He was also a football player at Butler Community College, before playing B-Ball for the Gorillas.
Unfortunately though, Marky Nolan is dead today. He was shot to death outside a Wichita sports stadium where a youth football game was being played, according to the police.
According to the police, Nolan and the other man have an ongoing feud that was not related to the football game.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday inside the Stryker Sports Complex near a parking lot there, but outside the stadium where the game was being played, per the Associated Press.
The police chief is currently searching for the shooter now. Nolan and the suspect reportedly got into an argument when the suspect pulled out his weapon and shot Marky.
